Achieving the right mental and emotional state is necessary for any level of success in any field of endeavor, whether it be business, personal or spiritual life.  Unfortunately, most of our mental and emotional faculties do not seem to be under our direct control.  We feel things that we would rather not.  We do things that we know are wrong or unproductive.  For example, we all know gossiping, back stabbing, favoritism, bias, deceit, and inauthenticity create a sick culture of negative politics in the office, and yet we find ourselves participating in it nonetheless.  This all happens because there are unconscious obstacles that seem to block our every move towards the life we want to live.  The problem is that in most cases, we are unaware that these obstacles are even operating.  We need to know what these are, if we are to be successful in building good relationships, a happy work and family life, and a successful business.  These are the things we need to know and accomplish to be truly successful and happy.

It will feature one of the most respected HR expert practitioners in Asia, Mr. Robin Michael L. Velasco.  Until his retirement in March 2015, he was the HR Vice President for 6 years of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) which is the holding company of the Philippine’s largest power distribution company, 11 of the largest hospitals, the largest Toll Road Network and Water Distribution Company. Prior to this, he was the HR Director for Asia in Synovate (now Ipsos which is a Global Market Research company), leading the HR function for 12 countries. He was also the HR Director for Talent Management for Asia Pacific, for Johnson and Johnson from 2005 to 2007.  After finishing his Masters in Existential, Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology degree in Saybrook University as a straight A student, he is currently pursuing his PhD degree in the same school.  He is one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (1990), BPI Science Awardee, two time Young Achievers Awardee and a Magna cum Laude graduate from DLSU.
