Manager Effectiveness Program

To help first-time managers, tenured managers, supervisors, and successors of business owners hone their managerial and leadership skills, the Center for Global Best Practices will launch a special training entitled, Manager Effectiveness Program to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 13 & 14, 2019 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines.

This two-day training program is specially crafted to provide first-time managers the right skills, mindset and attitude to be more successful and productive as they take on a bigger role in the organization. It will showcase practical examples and a compilation of best practices on what works for first-time managers in a Philippine setting and beyond.

This blended type of learning tackles issues from leadership, developing one’s team, goal setting, supervision, task delegation, coaching and providing performance feedback, time management, conflict resolution and many more. Attendees will also gain valuable insights that can help them prevent rookie mistakes that can be costly to your organization.

This program will feature Ramon M. De Leon, former managing director of Ayala Corporation. Under the Office of Lead Director for Infrastructure, he seconded to the various Ayala-owned subsidiaries to help in the corporate transformation of Globe Telecom, Manila water, IMI and BPI Family Bank.

He is a sought-after facilitator and lecturer with over 30 years of experience in the areas of Human Resource Management, Labor and Employee Relations, Quality and Productivity, Leadership and Motivation, Change Management and Organization Development. He regularly conducts various training and lectures on highly specialized topics which has benefited many local and international organizations to help them grow their people and businesses successfully.
