BIR CAS Compliance for Contractors and Property Developers

Inviting all medium and large taxpayers to this one-day seminar on “BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Contractors and Property Developers” to help those organization who are having difficulty setting up, getting accreditation, and running a successful computerized accounting system (CAS) in compliance with the BIR regulation 2009-9. 

This program is to provide guidance and assistance to these companies who are large taxpayers and medium sized (ones who are soon to be re-classified as large taxpayers).  This includes those top 500 medium taxpayers in each revenue districts whose will have the same compliance requirement as the large taxpayers. 
This event is scheduled on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines. The lecture is also applicable for other types of large taxpayers.

Given the Duterte administrations need for more funding for infrastructure, it has set its focus as one of its priorities to strengthen it’s campaign on the compliance of contractors and property developers.  BIR has reactivated the formation of a special task force CSET to intensify the monitoring and stricter enforcement of tax regulations. Attending this will help hurdle and solve one’s CAS issues and most importantly, prevent those dreaded BIR penalties.  There is certainly bigger accountability for officials in government and GOCCs who are amiss with their government duties to comply on this issue. The lecture will include discussions on the regulations and rulings, presentation of the challenges of getting BIR CAS accreditation and how to prepare for the actual system demonstration required by the BIR.

This will feature seasoned practitioner, Mr. Bienvenido Constantino, CPA. His expertise includes aligning medium to large taxpayers’ IT-based accounting systems to comply with all the BIR regulations. He is the Founder & Managing Director of Helix Software Technologies, an Australian IT firm specializing in cloud technologies designed for SME, large enterprises as well as for GOCCs, National Government Agencies and LGUs. He has assisted many large enterprises achieved BIR-CAS compliance including A. Soriano Corp, Mirant, Micro-D, Trends and Technologies, Mighty Corporation, PCSO, Dunkin Donuts, Bounty Agro, among many others. His highly rated BIR CAS software is also presently being used for the administration of 83 buildings of Megaworld and several government agencies. His extensive experience includes having worked as IT Project Director of World Bank projects with the Commission on Audit and the Department of Energy as well as in various USAID initiatives.
