To help you re-polish your mastery of English, the Center for Global Best Practices (www.cgbp.org) is holding a special seminar entitled, Refresher Course on Business English scheduled on Thursday and Friday, February 22 & 23, 2018 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.  It’s a two-day back-to-basics intensive course for professionals, senior executives and entrepreneurs to help them refresh their memory and re-sharpen their skills once again to master the world’s language for business. This unique program will feature Prof. Lucris Carina Agnir-Paraan, Ph.D., course director at the Center for Global Best Practices.  She finished her doctorate degree, major in English Studies at the University of the Philippines in Diliman where she was awarded the “Outstanding Dissertation” of the College of Arts and Letters. She earned her MA in Language and Literature at the University of the Philippines in Baguio where she graduated with a 1.007 GPA. Her AB in Philosophy was also earned at UP Diliman, and she graduated high school at the International School of Kuala Lumpur where she was the first Asian and first woman Editor-in-Chief of the school paper. She conducts regular public and in-house English refresher workshops and seminars on business communication and verbal skills. BIR CAS Compliance for Contractors and Property Developers

  Inviting all medium and large taxpayers to this one-day seminar on  “BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Contractors and Property Developers”  to help those organization who are having difficulty setting up, getting accreditation, and running a successful computerized accounting system (CAS) in compliance with the BIR regulation 2009-9.  This program is to provide guidance and assistance to these companies who are large taxpayers and medium sized (ones who are soon to be re-classified as large taxpayers).  This includes those top 500 medium taxpayers in each revenue districts whose will have the same compliance requirement as the large taxpayers.  This event is scheduled on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines.  The lecture is also applicable for other types of large taxpayers.
