Special Training for Corporate Secretaries of the Board

Lawyers, accountants, consultants and compliance officers can add profit to their practice by adding corporate housekeeping as part of the services they offer to their valued clients. To upgrade the skills of corporate, and assistant secretaries, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a special training entitled, Best Practices in Corporate Housekeeping: The Experts’ Guide on How to be an Effective Corporate Secretary” on Thursday and Friday, May 17 & 18, 2018 (1.5 days) at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. This kind of specialized training is not available and not taught in any schools in the country. 

Whether you are a lawyer servicing a corporate client, a professional or a family member assigned by the board as a corporate secretary, a board director or an owner of a corporation, you must know how corporate housekeeping should be executed properly. This unique program is tailored best for those who want to professionalize and establish their roles in the company, and for organizations who would like to broaden their offered services. Learn about the principal areas of housekeeping services, corporate housekeeping as risk management, the best methods of managing risks and many more in a comprehensive discussion and interaction with the speakers.


This special program will feature two expert practitioners who have built solid years of experience in corporate housekeeping and corporate services. Tristan Catindig has been in corporate law practice for more than 40 years. For 26 years, he became a Senior Partner and Head of Corporate Services Department in the largest firm in the Philippines, SyCip Salazar Hernandez and Gatmaitan. 

On the other hand, Atty. Adrian Bustos, is a tax and corporate lawyer specializing in corporate tax planning, tax assessments, investments, securities corporate housekeeping and commercial transactions. Currently, he is the President of a tax, accounting and consultancy firm, the CFO of an IT company delivering business solutions globally and a consultant to several companies and firms.
This special pioneering program teaches board directors, secretaries, and lawyers the knowledge and professional skills on how to be an effective corporate secretary and how to perform the functions of corporate housekeeping.
