Resource Mobilization and Management for Universities and Colleges


World-class schools put great emphasis and efforts into their resource mobilization and management as part of their competitive advantage!

With the advocacy of bringing world-class education and training for management committees, school administrators, members of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and many more, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a pioneering program entitled, Best Practices in Resource Mobilization and Management for Collegesand Universitiesscheduled on Thursday and Friday, August 2 & 3, 2018 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines.

This two-day best practices and capacity building training program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants in recognizing and generating the resources of their own educational institutions and finding ways to utilize them to the fullest. This unique program will provide the participants with new approaches in ensuring that resources are used to deliver values which the management of higher educational institutions (HEIs) seeks to achieve.

This program will feature course director and lecturer, Rufo R. Mendoza, Ph.D., CPA. He was the chairman of Finance and Accounting Department and Program Director of the Master in Development Management in Public Finance at the Asian Institute of Management. He was the Vice Chair of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy and the Chair of Continuing Professional Development Council for Accountancy. His consulting experiences include engagements with The World Bank, Australian Agency for International Development, United States Agency for International Development, United Nations Development Programme, and European Commission. He has written 4 books and 21 research and technical papers. He was a national awardee as Outstanding CPA in Professional Development (2008) and in Government Service (2010) of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountant.

  Inviting all medium and large taxpayers to this one-day seminar on  “BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Contractors and Property Developers”  to help those organization who are having difficulty setting up, getting accreditation, and running a successful computerized accounting system (CAS) in compliance with the BIR regulation 2009-9.  This program is to provide guidance and assistance to these companies who are large taxpayers and medium sized (ones who are soon to be re-classified as large taxpayers).  This includes those top 500 medium taxpayers in each revenue districts whose will have the same compliance requirement as the large taxpayers.  This event is scheduled on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines.  The lecture is also applicable for other types of large taxpayers.
