Learn How to Import Goods to the Philippines

To teach you the secrets of importers, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a pioneering program entitled, “Best Practices Guide on How to Import Goods to the Philippines” scheduled on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

This special training will provide you a comprehensive step-by-step guide on the whole importation process in the Philippines – from applying for an import license to ensuring the safety and security of the delivery and arrival of your goods. This lecture will also arm you with the right knowledge and fresh insights to save you millions in costs, time, effort and even preventable mistakes committed by most importers.

This special program will feature Ms. Maria Lydia “Deedee” A. Ledonio, whom is the author of the book, The Basic Guidelines on Importing into the Philippines: A Handbook for Commercial Importers. With over 25 years of experience in the importing scene, she has help hundreds of importers to safely bring in various products from all over the world into the Philippine Market – whether it is for trading or for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE). Currently, she is the president of Columbia Transport, Inc. (Coltrans) and managing partner of Coltrans Exhibits, Inc. She obtained her master’s degree on Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management and her bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Santo Tomas. She also founded Dee’s Gourmet Popcorn and many other businesses.
