This special program will feature Ms. Maria Lydia “Deedee” A. Ledonio, whom is the author of the book, The Basic Guidelines on Importing into the Philippines: A Handbook for Commercial Importers. With over 25 years of experience in the importing scene, she has help hundreds of importers to safely bring in various products from all over the world into the Philippine Market – whether it is for trading or for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE). Currently, she is the president of Columbia Transport, Inc. (Coltrans) and managing partner of Coltrans Exhibits, Inc. She obtained her master’s degree on Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management and her bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Santo Tomas. She also founded Dee’s Gourmet Popcorn and many other businesses.

BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Medium and Large Taxpayers

There are over 3,780++ large taxpayers and many are not compliant to the Bureau of Internal Revenue Regulation 9-2009 requiring large taxpayers to have a Computerized Accounting System (CAS). This becomes relevant also to the top 500 medium-sized provincial taxpayers in every revenue district which has the equivalent classification of a large taxpayer.
