A meeting loses its value
and wastes time if it is not documented in the correct manner.
With the passage of the
Revised Corporation Code, there are strict guidelines on how the minutes of
meetings should be recorded that must be aligned with SEC regulations. With the
clamor of many business owners and decision-makers based in the Visayas region
to have more world-class training available to them, the Center for Global Best
Practices will host a special program entitled, “Masterclass on Writing Minutesof Meetings” to be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Seda Ayala Center, Cebu
City, Philippines.
With the current
climate of greater accountability of board directors and management in
decisions made during meetings, every organization needs trained experts with
the right skills to take minutes effectively. This program is designed to make
your meetings efficient and its outcomes effective through a step-by-step guide
from preparing the documentation and its physical requirements of a meeting, to
agenda-setting, to using standard terminology in taking down notes and many
more!
The learning methodology for this session includes an
interactive approach on instructions, discussions and exercises. It is the only
program that will teach you the best practices in minutes taking and provide
you vital information on the legal guidelines and regulations on meetings
mandated by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
It will feature Atty. Mia G. Gentugaya, who was senior partner
and is presently of counsel of the largest law firm in the Philippines -- SyCip
Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan law offices. She headed its Banking, Finance
and Securities Department. Her specializations include banking, finance and
securities, foreign investments, and corporations.
