CGBP to Conduct 2nd Series of PPP Seminar with Atty. Alberto Agra

Good news to all businessmen who really want to succeed in their PPP projects! The Center for Global Best practices is conducting the second series of the seminar in "Public-Private Partnerships in BOT & JV Projects". This event will take place on March 17 & 18, 2011 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.


In Series 1 of our PPP (Public-Private Partnerships) seminar, we taught you how to structure your deals effectively. In this 1.5-day seminar (Series 2), our expert practitioners will teach you how to succeed in your PPP deals by learning how to package feasibility studies, craft the right terms of reference in your bid documents, pursue unsolicited proposals the right way, formulate technical bids, compute financial bids, prepare for bidding and negotiations, learn the auditing rules and monitor project implementation.

Ex-Justice Secretary Atty. Alberto C. Agra will be the featured speaker for this event. He has held various positions in government as Solicitor General and Governement Corporate Counsel. He is a strong advocate of PPP, professor of laws (1993 to present), and co-author of Knowing BOT and JV. He currently heads Forensic Law and Policy Strategies, Inc. and Forensic Solutions, a think tank offering services in the fields of policy, law reform, advocacy and governance.

Other speakers and resource persons who are experts on PPP and representatives of the public and private sectors involved in PPP/ BOT/ JV projects shall be included in the lecture presentations.

BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Medium and Large Taxpayers

There are over 3,780++ large taxpayers and many are not compliant to the Bureau of Internal Revenue Regulation 9-2009 requiring large taxpayers to have a Computerized Accounting System (CAS).
