Sustainability reporting for publicly-listed companies

The Securities and Exchange Commission will strictly require all publicly-listed companies (PLCs) to submit sustainability reports beginning next year.

To address the clamor of many PLCs who are yet to comply with such requirement, the Center for Global Best Practices will launch a pioneering program entitled, “Best Practices in Sustainability Reporting for Publicly-Listed Companies” to be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, May 28 & 29, 2019 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

This two-day seminar workshop will teach attendees how to write an annual sustainability report that is compliant with the SEC’s standard. In this program, participants will learn not only what SEC expects PLCs must include and address in their annual sustainability reports, but also how to practically plan and prepare such by integrating sustainability reporting in one’s enterprise strategy. Topics include enterprise sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting frameworks, fundamental reporting principles, conducting materiality assessments, report planning and production and many more.

Listen and learn from Atty. Teodoro Kalaw IV who is the only Filipino triple-certified as both a sustainability trainer by the Global Reporting Initiative and a sustainability reporting specialist by the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners; in the Balanced Scorecard strategy management process by the Palladium, the firm of Professors Kaplan & Norton (the Harvard Business School faculty who conceptualized this leading performance methodology); and as a certified Compliance & Ethics Professional by the International Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics.
